Chanler - What would happen in a world where it was the child's choice to go to school? Would you go to school?

    If this where true I think most people would not be at school right now. I would be one of those people. There are very few subjects I enjoy. I honestly would not mind school if it where not for the homework. So that is why I would not go.
      I think that other students feel the same. Also most do not like waking up so early especially if they do not enjoy what they are doing. However I think that some would still go to get an education. This is my personal opinion.

      I recently went to a wedding last Saturday and even though I didn't really want to go it ended up being not bad and fun. I got to hang out with my family and watch my cousin get married. The food was very good also.

      I am also vey excited for football. It is now the playoffs and we got a bye for the first round. We play STA in the quaterfinals this week. The whole team has been working hard and really want to get to the dome for a shot the win state.

     Why do we spend so much time on the internet? I have come to the realization that we spend a lot or to much time on the internet. We are on social networking sites such as twitter. When insted of finding out what our friends are doing though twitter we could go have fun with that friend.

        Don't get me wrong the internet has very useful information. I think that we spend to much time procrastnating on it though. I think we need to choose our time wisely on it.

playoffs

       The regular season in football is now over. It was one of the best ones any team has had. In fact it was the best. We ended it off beating Capitol at EHS and having a ten and zero team.

      We get a first round bye for this week. After that we look to win out and go to the state championship. To do what no team at Episcopal has done, to win state.

class act

           In class we had a ruler disagreement and once we got a a ruler no one listened. however we did have a good plan. in real life I think it would have played out differently. I don't think there would have been a ruler. Just everyone wold have came up with ideas.
           
             Also it would have been more of a voting. If we did end up having a ruler I think what happened in class would happen in real life. Everyone was trying to make David's Ideas better.

free post JV games

          The JV season is now over. This is sad because this is the only games me and most freshman play in. However it was a ton of fun. Especially in this last game at Redemtist. We beat them badly and everyone had a great game.

          Everyone was playing hard and we did great. Even though they where not a good team we had fun> I am sad to see it end but now it is almost time for the playoffs.

           I have noticed in all of the stories I have read none of them are very happy. There are parts when it is joyful but by the end it gets dreary. This is true in Sniper particularity. The devises a great plan and he shoots the other sniper and is glad of his great plan and how well he executed of it. He then goes to see who the other sniper was because he might know him because it is a civil war. He gets over there only to see that he had shoot his own brother.
             One thing in this story I could use for a literacy analysis is that war is never good. Which is true in this story because he shoots his own brother. However it is not always like that. Anytime someone has to die is not good, which obviously happens a lot in wars.

This is water Make up post

               After watching This is Water I have a few feelings about it. First it made me think. I have never thought about anything like that. After practice and I am in the store with my Dad I would not have thought about it like that. But now I will try to think about this video.

                I feel that this is true. You cannot go though life in a negative way because that will make your life not as good. I think you have to be happy no matter the circumstances and think about other people.

       After reading A&P I thought the story was somewhat weird. For one the man was thinking about these girls way to much and giving what he thought of the before he even spoke a word to them. Also why would he quit his job for the girl especially if it was his career. Also after all of it he did not even see them after his "heroic" deed.

        After reading Harrison Bergeron to be confusing. Why was all of this going on in the first place. Also why did the parents forget everything and it was their son. However it was interesting.

       Sitting in the dark got me thinking about practice today.Did I do good enough? Did I try hard enough? It dose not matter anyway. I sill have to go to the same stupid thing tomorrow.

        I just do not want to look like I am trying to hard though. Even though I should be starting because I am the best. How is it not clear?

         I am now reading yet another book Hunger Games book. So far I am pleased and loving this series. Every book is great and I cannot wait to be done with them.I like this book so far

          I am liking how the tree books connect to each other.I am interested in district 13. Will this have a big effect in the book? I just cannot wait to keep reading.

        I have finally finished my book. It was Catching Fire, the second book in the hunger games series. It was one of the better books I have read. It was very exciting. I would recommend it to everyone. It has something for almost anyone.

         It has violence for anyone that loves action. It has a great story for anyone looking for a good read. And romance for anyone that is into that. It took a while to finish but was worth it.

      "I am bigger and stronger than you. So we can fight right now if you want."said Allison

      "Just because I got the last piece of cake does not mean you can be mean to me" stated Rachel.Then their Mom walked in.

       "Why are you two fighting, it is 10 at night just go to bed." she said

       "Because she took the last piece when I called it."said Allison

        "I do not care who called it. If you two do not go to bed right now, you are both grounded."

        "Fine. Whatever" Allison stated angerly.

football

  It is now football season and it is my favorite time of year. I get to watch it and play it. Football is not my favorite sport but it is my favorite to watch. We just played our Jamboree against Parkview we did not win but they are a very good team.

    We also where going to have our JV today but sadly it got cancelled. Also LSU played last weekend in Dallas. We played TCU who is a very good team. I an excited for this year.

I am still reading Catching Fire. It has been very interesting so far and continues to get better. I am liking the the 75th Hunger Games. That is what I care about in this book.

However I do not care about the other part. It is about who she loves more and I simply do not care. Ether way the book is great. However if they would not say much about it the book would be perfect.

     I am reading Catching Fire right now. It is a good book so far. I like how they ended it off from the Hunger Games. I also like how creative they where with how they are doing the 75th Games.

home run derby

                                       home run derby 

         Last week I played in the allstate games for baseball. I got on this team for being one of the best on my team and winning the state championship. The day before the games they have a skills competition. There are three competitions that you can enter, running, throwing accuracy, and home run derby. I chose to do the home run derby.

  

           I chose to do it because I have never done it because I am not a home run hitter. I had Matthew Garret pitch to me. While pitching to me he hit me. It was fun but I did not hit a home run.

Music

     I think music is very important.For one it lets you express your fellings. Also it lifts you up on a bad day. When I am felling bad I go listen to music. Also there are many different genres of it. So anyone can like it. Also for some people it helps them do work. For example I am doing it now, it helps me write.  

Divergent

   I personally thought that Divergent was a great book. There where many things I liked about it. I liked the characters there was almost one for everyone. I also liked how we didn't know what faction she was going to choose till it happened. Also I liked how she changed though out the book.

    However I disliked a few things. I did not like how she was unable to leave the dauntless compound. I felt like it left out Celeb from the book. I also did not like the love part of the book. I would have rathered them stick with the problems inside the compound.
