Sadly our baseball season is over. However it was fun and we had a good run. We won our last regular season game against St. Charles Catholic. This was a big win because they are a very good team. We also won our first game in the playoffs. This was another big win because Calvary was a very good team. However sadly we lost our next game. We played Kinder who is the best team in the state. We did not play a very good game against them but we fought hard.
Our JV season was fun also. we did not play as many games as we had hoped because of the rain. However we had a great season and had lots of fun doing it. We played some close games against some good teams such as St. Micheal, Central, and Denham Springs. Now it is time for spring football which is always good. It is even better now because the 8th graders practice with us. This means that we do not have to do "freshman deeds" any more. This is great because they are a lot of work. It was a great baseball season but now I am looking forward to football.

Clark, these are not developed paragraphs. Each paragraph should be a minimum of five sentences. While each of these paragraphs includes four sentences, the sentences are so simple that they are not really appropriate for ninth grade writing. Also, please include your reading details.
